Easy Spanish Guitar - A Fun and Comprehensive Step-by-Step Course

This easy and comprehensive Spanish Guitar course is a flavorful and exotic pathway so that beginners can start making beautiful music on the guitar - immediately! Experience the music that guitar was built for hundreds of years ago - Spanish stylings!

Because this is a beginner course, I teach you only what you need to know when you need it - building up towards total musicality. It's "chunked" rather than all thrown at once.

The Four Main Areas of the Course:

1. Super Beginner Knowledge - technique, posture, tuning and more.
2. Making your first chords, the easy and beautiful notes inside the chords, how to strum them and how to put them together in Spanish-influenced mini-songs.
3. Your first scale and some fun ways to pick it.
4. Final Project Songs I wrote for you so you can see, feel and hear in real-time what it's like to play a song from beginning to end and have FUN

We start off with the super basics -

• the parts of your guitar,
• how to hold the guitar,
• the differences between nylon and steel strings,
• posture,
• picking,
• right hand/left hand technique,
• How to tune your guitar, and more(...of course, you can skip these units if you like, but it never hurts to examine your technique. )

Next, I'll teach you your core chords. We only use a handful of chords in this class. The point of the class is not to play a zillion chords...it's to reveal the musicality and open beauty of the guitar with simple knowledge and techniques.

What good is a guitar if you can't just pick it up and strum it to make beautiful music?

If you're an early beginner and have trouble changing/switching chords - don't worry! I've included a free bonus - Strummer's Delight free class - so that you're sure you're building all the essential skills to enjoy this magical instrument and beautiful music.

We then go into making simple Spanish songs with your chords; strumming patterns and rhythms so you can get 'in the groove' all on your own, and we wrap up with a simple education in scales/melody/notes and a couple 'final projects' in Easy and Medium difficulty settings.

There's a section on some VERY easy adjustments you can do to the simple chords we learn to make them even more beautiful. This leads to a little elaboration, when you're ready.

Finally, we hit some basic scales to learn how to play simple melodies. This section crosses over into late beginner and intermediate - a later course I wrote up that I'd like to include for free because it will help you grown your musical wings!
